How does Identity Theft Insurance work?

This only applies to myFICO subscription plans that include the up to $1 million identity insurance policy.

If you do become a victim of identity theft, the up to $1 Million Identity Theft Insurance policy will reimburse you for covered expenses associated with restoring your identity.

We will reimburse the expenses and legal costs from the following types of identity fraud (subject to the policy limitations and exclusions):

  1. Fraud or Embezzlement
  2. Theft
  3. Forgery
  4. Data Breach
  5. Stolen Identity Event

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Identity Theft Insurance is underwritten and administered by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company.
